White 1 Restoration Shop

Work on the main airframe of White 1 is taking place at the White 1 Restoration Shop located at 822 North Hoagland Blvd. Kissimmee, FL.

A major part of the collection is located here, including our extra aircraft components, pilot flight gear, survival gear, and ground equipment.

As can be expected, many of the original parts are either missing or damaged beyond repair and must be reproduced from scratch. Fortunately, the extensive use of factory drawings and original parts for reference allows us to remain faithful to the originals. Some of these parts are shown below. These are exact duplicates of the belt feed chutes for the MG151/20 20mm wing cannon with inboard mounting location. The outboard mounted MG151/20 cannon used a different magazine and chute arrangement.   MW50 tank behalter. Exact duplicate of an original.
Here is a view of the rudder bellcrank assembly. Rebuild is exactly as original, including rubber padding for the bellcrank arms.   This is the rebuilt shell case and link ejector chute assembly for the inboard MG151/20 cannons.
Control surface hinge pin, nut, and cotter pin.   Motor mount to firewall bolt, washer and nut with replated original for comparison.
Aileron bearing retainer bolts with original for comparison. Interestingly, there are three per aileron, and each is unique for its position. They mount vertically and allow for up/down adjustment. Each houses a self-centering bearing.   Aluminum retainer rings for the Kraftspeicher--spring loaded energy storage units which help to lower the undercarriage in the absence of electrical power. One is original, one is new.

An assortment of various shild which are available with the "glow in the dark" letters. These appear in various locations, particularly at the selbstschalters (breakers) on the right side console in the cockpit.

Gashebel or power lever for the FW 190. This is an exact duplicate of the original.   Antreib fur Schiebehaube. Canopy crank assembly.
Klinke fur Abwurfvorrichtung fur Schiebehaube. The firing catch for the canopy ejection system. When it rotates it allows the firing pin to strike the primer of the druckpatrone cartridge.  

Heat Treated Breech Block Assembly for the canopy ejection system. It can be fired with the proper charge.
